Awakening Heart Intelligence

A 4-day online Easter retreat to reconnect with your heart’s natural clarity, stability, and inner guidance.

Modern life pulls us into our heads.

This retreat brings you back to your heart.

Modern life pulls us upward into the head. We analyse, scroll, decide, and re-decide, while something quieter in the chest keeps calling. This retreat is an invitation to let that call finally become central.

Over four days at Easter, we will step away from the noise and sink into the oldest, most intimate center of knowing you have:

the heart as an organ of perception, courage, and truth.

Why the Heart, Why Now

We live in a culture overflowing with information and starving for clarity.

Brains are busier than ever, yet many feel more anxious, divided, and unsure of what matters.

It was not always like this. In ancient Egypt the ib was weighed against the feather of truth. In the Hebrew Bible the lev was the inner command center of memory, will, and moral choice. In Greece the kardia was the seat of courage and intelligence. In the Upanishads the hridaya was a secret cave of ultimate knowledge. Sufi mystics spoke of the qalb as the mirror of the divine, and Buddhist teachings trained the heart through loving-kindness and compassion.

Then, slowly, power shifted. The heart was redefined as a pump. Descartes lifted thinking into an abstract mind. Harvey mapped circulation and recast the heart in hydraulic terms. Neurology crowned the brain as the single ruler of intelligence. Reason was celebrated, the chest was quietly silenced.

We now inhabit a head-heavy world. We can measure almost anything, yet we struggle to sense what is worthy of devotion, where we truly belong, what deserves our loyalty.

At the same time, a new kind of intelligence grows around us. Machine systems learn, optimise, and simulate emotion. The more they imitate human thought, the more urgent the question becomes: what remains distinctly human?

 Heart intelligence is one answer.

It is not sentiment. It is a way of knowing that unifies clarity, feeling, and moral sense. It remembers what is real when data, opinion, and fear collide.

This immersion is a response to that cultural moment.

What is heart intelligence?

The heart is more than a symbol for emotion. In lived experience it behaves as a center of discernment, choice, and meaning. You can feel it tightening in grief, swelling with love, steadying you in courage. This is not poetry alone; it is the body’s own language.

Across these four days we will explore the architecture of this intelligence through six central capacities:

Center of choice

The heart initiates direction. The mind can analyse options, yet the real decision arises in the chest as a quiet yes or no, a sense that something is truly mine to live.

    Center of knowing

The heart does not argue itself into truth. It recognises. It remembers. Here, Plato’s anamnesis becomes visceral: a felt certainty that is calm, stable, and hard to explain, yet unmistakable.

    Center of meaning

Meaning is not assembled like a theory. It is intuited. The heart senses what is worthy of commitment, what is trivial, what belongs to the deeper story of a life.

    Center of love and compassion

Genuine empathy does not begin in concepts. It begins in the chest. Here we encounter the capacity to include, to accept, to soften, and to relate without constant self-protection.

      Center of liberation

Forgiveness, letting go, and the release of hardened stories about self and others are movements of the heart. Calculation can explain why they are useful; only the heart can actually perform them.

      Center of belonging

The heart dissolves the illusion of absolute separateness. It opens into connection with others, with the earth, with the more-than-human, and, for many, with the divine. This is the place where loneliness begins to loosen.

Heart intelligence does not replace the mind. It restores balance so that thought serves what the heart recognises as true.

The four movements of our journey

Rather than a schedule of techniques, this immersion unfolds as four deep movements that weave through the days.

      1. Remembering what the heart once was

We begin with an inner archaeology: Egypt, the Bible, Greece, the Upanishads, Buddhism, Sufism. Not as a history lesson, but as a mirror for your own experience. You will recognise how closely these visions match what you already feel in your chest.

At the same time, we will trace how the heart was gradually dethroned in modern culture and reduced to metaphor or sentiment. This recognition softens self-doubt. Your sense that the heart knows something real is not naivety; it belongs to a very long human memory.

      2. Hearing the voice beneath the noise

Thinking and knowing sound different inside us, yet most people no longer distinguish them. The mind produces arguments, counter-arguments, and loops. The heart recognises what is true without agitation.

Through guided explorations, you will learn to separate the heart’s quiet recognition from instinct, impulse, and emotional turbulence. A central practice here is the beginning of a personal “Book of Knowing”: written traces of the few things your heart knows with certainty. Even one sentence can become a lifelong anchor.

      3. The flexible heart: easing the armor

Many of us carry a fist-like heart, clenched from past pain and disappointment. It feels like protection, yet it narrows perception and keeps old wounds frozen.

In this movement we explore what happens when the heart regains flexibility. You will work with inner images of walls, armor, and granthis, and learn how to soften them. Simple, deep practices show how the heart can remain open in the presence of memory, hurt, or fear without collapsing into them. This is where healing starts to move again after years of circling.

      4. The inner compass in a machine-age world

Finally, we turn to the present moment: a civilisation that increasingly hands decisions to data-driven systems. Machine intelligence can simulate empathy, predict preferences, and optimise choices, yet something essential remains outside its reach.

We will clarify that “something”: felt truth, loyalty, dignity, tenderness, the capacity to stay in contact with reality rather than with simulations of it. You will learn a simple model for whole decision-making, where the mind maps the situation and the heart weighs what is real, meaningful, and growth-giving.

This last movement asks a quiet yet radical question: how does a life, a relationship, a community look when guided by heart intelligence rather than by fear, ideology, or efficiency alone?

"Dr. Shai Tubali is one of the great master teachers of our generation."
“Dr. Shai Tubali is one of the great master teachers of our generation. A brilliant mind, a pristine awakened consciousness, and a vastly loving heart enable him to decipher, transmit and induct the very soul of these wisdom teachings. To have the Grace to study alongside his transmission of these works is an initiatory process and a precious blessing. A true trustworthy resource for cultivating presence, peace and illumination.”

      Gabriele Thelen

"Shai Tubali's teachings should be incorporated into all curricula internationally."
“Colleges and universities educate future economic and political leaders as well as future global team players. The demands on these groups are increasing, particularly concerning their physical resilience and emotional competence. Shai Tubali, with his teachings and methods, supports personality development processes that are both cognitively convincing and methodically accessible, especially for university students. Therefore, they should be incorporated into all curricula internationally.

      Ludwig Kramer-Klett

      Entrepreneur and Investor

"Shai Tubali's teachings filled me with an inner peace and feeling of liberation."
“Shai Tubali’s teachings filled me with an inner peace and feeling of liberation like I didn’t have before. I understand now that any positive feeling I ever felt, was mine and not created by someone or something else and I can live it everyday if I only allow it.”

“For me, a new door has opened where I have more power and use my energy purposefully and not just waste it in emotions that I misunderstood before. At the same time, I can now accompany clients and friends on this path as well, to feel in and discover this inner wisdom that is in all of us.

At one point I asked myself: why didn’t I learn about this earlier? Why didn’t I do this much earlier? Because I think that’s the foundation to really understanding what it means to be human.”

      Max Schwindt

      Transformational Coach, Engineer

“I have done a lot of different trainings in the spiritual field, but none of the previous ones could establish these deep, lasting changes in me like the School with Shai. This school is a perfect blend of teaching, deep insights and transformational processes. It helps tremendously in developing a deeper understanding of our humanity, understanding the superman power of consciousness, and making real shifts in being. I have never experienced anything like this before! This school is making a significant contribution to the growth and maturation of humanity.”

      Liliane Meier

      Yoga Teacher

"My personal transformation process was an immense opening to the inner source."
“My personal transformation process was an immense opening to the inner source.

This connectedness, from which I can draw at any time in order to give, is probably the most sacred thing I have realised. I have experienced so much peace in my being that emotions no longer take up so much space. I react much more calmly and clearly when a storm breaks in from the outside. Decisions are no longer based on offended ego, but in compassion and peace.

I would definitely recommend this training. This training is key and there is probably no one who could not use this kind of healing. Especially now in this time when there is a global awakening going on.”

      Nadia D.

      Coach & Yoga Teacher

"There are only tears running and in my heart there is a feeling of infinitely deep touch. How long have I longed for this connection, how long has my heart cried out for this realisation."
“Dear Shai, dear team, dear everyone,
I don’t know what to say. There are only tears running and in my heart there is a feeling of infinitely deep touch.
How long have I longed for this connection, how long has my heart cried out for this realisation. What a challenging journey….
It obviously takes some time for a deep insight to slowly grow.

I am everything. I contain everything. I am full of fullness and at the same time “emptiness”. This realisation has revealed itself today on a very incisive and deep level in my heart and I am sure that this realisation may now deepen even further.
I would like to thank you, the team and all of life from the bottom of my heart.
A special thank you for your clear and honest words, thank you for your endless efforts, your support and your endless love. As I listened to your words today, I realised the dedication and love with which you share the messages with the world. At that moment I felt no separation and it seemed as if only the One was speaking to itself.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this wonderful challenge and I wish you endless and liberating insights for the road ahead.
      From my heart”
