These traumas arise from painful disappointments in relationships, such as the abandonment of a parent or loved one, the physical loss of a loved one, or even the perceived betrayal of someone we deeply trusted or dedicated our lives to.
In such moments, we have built a wall around our heart, and so we always carry the past with us. It also has a decisive influence on our current relationships.
In order to be able to shape our present in freedom, to learn to trust again and to love fully, we must therefore face perhaps the greatest task on the Transformative Path: Letting go of the past.
