What happens next
Once accepted, you will receive the first questionnaire to complete before the process begins. You will also be matched with a practitioner to begin scheduling your four sessions.
Placement in the immediate-start or waitlist group is determined by random assignment – this is a core element of the study design and ensures the scientific validity of the results.
About the participation fee
The fee of 200€ (50€ per session) is paid directly to your assigned practitioner. This is a research project, not a commercial program – our goal is to examine the measurable effects of The Switch in a rigorous, scientific way. Your participation makes that possible.
Upon full completion
As a thank-you for completing all four sessions and all three research questionnaires, you will receive complimentary access to Shai’s 21-day challenge. Access is granted after the final follow-up questionnaire – which arrives approximately one month after your last session.

About the Study
This study is conducted as a randomized controlled trial (RCT), one of the most rigorous research designs in psychological science.
The study is carried out in collaboration with:
- University of Sussex
- Kinneret College on the Sea of Galilee
The objective is to examine the measurable effects of a structured identity exploration method known as The Switch.
Participants contribute to the development of an evidence base in the field of identity and perceptual flexibility, while personally engaging in the structured process being studied.
