It was over 2000 years ago that Jesus lived on this earth and spoke of the Kingdom of God, and was condemned and finally crucified. Seemingly left alone by his loved ones, mocked by the crowds, he had to carry his cross himself to the place where he was to be crucified. And as he lay beaten on the cross, dying, his words were, \u201cFather, forgive them they know not what they do.\u201d
What stronger symbol of the true power of the heart can there be? What kind of heart can speak of forgiveness at such a moment? How can a child of God, as Jesus saw himself, be completely trusting and in love even in such a dark hour?<\/p>\n

How quickly do we feel attacked when someone says something \u201cwrong\u201d? One wrong word can be enough and we contract. So how can we come into deeper contact with his supreme commandment to love our neighbor?<\/p>\n

Jesus was a revolutionary teacher. His life and work have deeply influenced Western culture for the last 2000 years. The courage, freedom from fear, the fire, the love \u2013 even his death is a powerful symbol of spiritual rebirth.<\/p>\n

And he came to teach a way into the Kingdom of God, to become that gate himself. The Kingdom he spoke of was for him a living reality to which we can awaken in this life. The gateway to it is in his heart, is in our heart. Also, Jesus often spoke of us needing to be like children in order to enter the Kingdom.<\/p>\n

In various places in the New Testament, Jesus points out that we must become like children in order to enter the Kingdom of God. What is meant by this?<\/p>\n

If we look at Jesus himself, he spoke of God as the Father \u2013 that is, he took himself to be a child of the Divine. He gave his life into the hands of God with complete trust, just as a child entrusts his life completely to his parents. So the divine child seems to be a fundamental principle.<\/p>\n

Together with Shai Tubali, we will explore the subtle principles behind these words and learn to awaken the divine child within us in order to come closer to the Kingdom of God within us and around us.<\/p>\n
