The contracting party is Expansion Worldwide LLC<\/strong> (\u201cOrganizer\u201d). These Terms apply to on-site participation in Portugal<\/strong> (\u201cRetreat\u201d) and to online participation via live stream\/replay<\/strong> (\u201cOnline Program\u201d).<\/p>\n
Bookings are made online. The contract is concluded upon booking confirmation\/invoice. Participation is limited to persons 18 years and older<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
Prices are in EUR<\/strong>.
Deposit:<\/strong> \u20ac190<\/strong> (non-refundable) is due upon booking to reserve an on-site spot.
Balance:<\/strong> Due 30 days<\/strong> before the start; if payment is late, the spot may be released.<\/p>\n
On-site (fixed dates):<\/strong> No statutory right of withdrawal applies to leisure\/accommodation services provided on a specific date<\/strong>.
Online Program:<\/strong> If the Online Program begins within 14 days<\/strong> of purchase, you will be asked at checkout to expressly consent<\/strong> to immediate performance and to acknowledge the loss of the right of withdrawal<\/strong> upon the start of the stream. If no performance begins within 14 days, you may withdraw within that period. After the stream has started<\/strong> or replay access is granted<\/strong>, refunds are excluded.<\/p>\n
Cancellations must be submitted in writing (email is sufficient).
\u2013 \u2265 60 days<\/strong> before start: refund of the balance<\/strong>; deposit is forfeited<\/strong>.
\u2013 30\u201359 days:<\/strong> 50%<\/strong> of the total price is refunded.
\u2013 < 30 days<\/strong> \/ no-show: no<\/strong> refund.
Tickets are transferable<\/strong> up to 5 days<\/strong> before the start (no fee).<\/p>\n
Online access is personal<\/strong> and non-transferable. As a gesture of goodwill, a one-time reassignment may be offered before<\/strong> the program starts.<\/p>\n
Services are as advertised (accommodation\/board package, session schedule, online access\/replays). Reasonable changes<\/strong> for objective reasons (e.g., timetable adjustments, change of facilitator, room planning) remain reserved.<\/p>\n
We may cancel or postpone for good cause (e.g., insufficient minimum attendance, official orders, force majeure<\/strong>). In case of full cancellation<\/strong>, we refund all amounts paid, including the deposit<\/strong>, or offer rebooking\/credit. Further claims (e.g., travel or accommodation costs) are excluded to the extent permitted by law.<\/p>\n
Participation is at your own responsibility; the retreat is not<\/strong> a substitute for medical or psychotherapeutic treatment. We recommend travel cancellation insurance<\/strong> and international health insurance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
Access credentials are personal; recording, copying, sharing or public playback<\/strong> is prohibited. Content\/materials remain the intellectual property<\/strong> of the Organizer; usage rights are limited to personal, non-commercial use.<\/p>\n
Any photo\/video recordings for documentation\/marketing are made only with prior consent<\/strong>; you may withdraw consent at any time with future effect. Participation is not<\/strong> contingent upon such consent.<\/p>\n
For simple negligence, we are liable only for breaches of essential contractual duties<\/strong> (cardinal duties) and limited to the foreseeable, typical damage<\/strong>. Liability for intent\/gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health<\/strong> remains unaffected.<\/p>\n
Complaints may be submitted via the Portuguese \u201cLivro de Reclama\u00e7\u00f5es\u201d<\/strong> (Complaint Book) \u2014 online and on site. We participate in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)<\/strong>; competent bodies include CIAB \u2013 Centro de Informa\u00e7\u00e3o, Media\u00e7\u00e3o e Arbitragem de Consumo<\/strong>. Specific contact points and links are provided on our website.<\/p>\n
Information on data processing under Art. 12\u201314 GDPR is available in our Privacy Policy<\/strong> (linked in the website footer). The Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference.<\/p>\n
Portuguese law<\/strong> applies to on-site services and to online services performed in Portugal; mandatory consumer protection laws<\/strong> of the consumer\u2019s place of residence remain unaffected. Place of jurisdiction\u2014where legally permissible\u2014is Lisbon<\/strong>; consumers may also resort to ADR bodies.<\/p>\n
If any provision of these Terms is or becomes invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in force. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be replaced\u2014where legally possible\u2014by a valid provision that most closely reflects the parties\u2019 economic intent. The same applies to contractual gaps. This clause does not apply where upholding the contract would unreasonably burden a party or clearly contradict the parties\u2019 original intent.<\/span><\/p>\n
